EXILE
In the summer of 2016 the Chinese government issued a demolition order to some of Tibetan-China's most prominent Buddhist institutions and monasteries. Likely the last and most complete footage before the closure to foreigners + demolition commencement, 'Exile' acts as an homage to these sacred places, their people and their customs, a rare view into a hallowed world of which much is now left in ruin and rubble.
